Affiliate Disclosure

Both the UK and USA have rules on ensuring readers or viewers of web media know if a blogger/presenter has been endorsed, sponsored, partnered or earned commission from third party companies.  These are covered in the UK’s Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (CPUTR 2008) and US FTC’s Endorsement Guidelines.

Put simply, it means making sure that readers/viewers know whether the person promoting a product stands to gain any benefit (financial or otherwise) from promoting the product.

On GoodStuffDrinks.com, we have several blogs that contain links to external websites selling the products being discussed.  Please assume that any/all links on this website are affiliate links and that Good Stuff Drinks Ltd will make a small commission on any purchases made.

What are affiliate links?

When a reader clicks on an affiliate link on GoodStuffDrinks.com, they will be taken to an external third party website where they can make their purchase.  They will buy directly from the third party seller (not from Good Stuff Drinks Ltd).  The third party company will then pay Good Stuff Drinks Ltd a small commission (or other compensation) for promoting their website or product through their affiliate program.

Will I pay more?

No

Prices are exactly the same for you if your purchase is through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link.
